Sunhallowed arrows affecting townspeople and making them hos

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:09 pm

I just tried my sunhaoowed arrows for the first time and shot one into the sun, they're supposed to affect undead only... but tell that to the people of Riften, Grilka died in the fire along with half the townspeople, all the guards were burned and they attacked me along with all the other survivors.

I think these arrows have some kinks to work out... they're definitely not useable this way.

Wasn't aware they were supposed to work on undead only. I wouldn't have tested them out on bandits if that was the case. Seems to work like Storm Call though, in that it strikes randomly and indiscriminately. Wasn't aware that it can hit friendly/neutral targets though, so cheers for the heads up! :P

Err... Gelebor said no such thing about it affecting undead only. He said it'd be especially effective against undead. Just like the bow's basic enchantment effect.

It's not a bug, it's intended. The AoE splash of an Arrow hitting a target, or the rays of holy light enveloping your foes will harm ANY target, undead or not.

I do believe he means the whole 'shoot the sun' deal with the rays of light that shoot out of the sky.

Again, he is using the bow's special power. You know, block out the sun or use it to cause mass-chaos in a hail of sunlight?
