My Survival worry.

Injured NPCs will run back to camp if you don't heal them. What about when they hurt themselves. Like when dogmeat somehow gets downed when stepping off a stair step. Will i be randomly losing my companions out of combat?

There will be alot of crying when the beta gets released, I expect a busy forum, if it's still open

Yup. Lots of people are wringing their hands over how frustrating survival mode will be. Seems pretty obvious at this point that if a person can't handle setbacks then they aren't going to enjoy survival.

There are going to be bugs, no matter how much testing BGS does. Companions will get themselves killed. Hoarding will be a chore, death will occur regularly, and progress will be lost. It's all part of it.

I think the way it'll work is they'll go into their downed state. If you don't then apply a Stimpak and just leave them then they'll go back home; my guess is that'll happen when the cell unloads.
