Swansea City FC signed Laudrup!

Tiny little Swansea City FC officially unvieled All-Time football legend Michael Laudrup as their new manager yesterday. That is unbelievable! This guy was probably the best player in the whole decade of the 1990's and he is now coaching in the Premier League with probably the smallest club in Premier League history.

That's kinda.... romantic, in a rags to riches kind of way. Swansea didn't do it through some rich sugar daddy from the oil business, they are 25% owned by the fans of the city which is awesome. And now they have one of the biggest names in the sports entire history in the managers hotseat after just one season in the big league.

Swansea is really well run as a club and put financial stability first, even though the club made next to no money because even in the Premier League a couple of years ago none of the big clubs fans had even heard of them. But now it seems the whole football world has heard of Swansea City after what they did last season by standing toe to toe with the biggest of the big and dealing some really heavy punches in the process.

I guess because Swansea did not actually win the Premier League last season, they can be anologous to the Rocky hahaha! A small time, poor contender that no-one had ever heard of getting a break and getting there through hard work and dedication. I am really, really, REALLY hoping this can turn from a Rocky story and into a Cinderella story and by that I do not expect Swansea to win the Premier League... if they can finish 7th and qualify for Europe, then that must be the greatest achievement in English club football for decades because on paper you would think this really is David vs Goliath but David just managed to get Zeus on his side to coach him for battle!

While Michael Laudrup was a [censored] genius with a ball on the pitch, he might not be has good has a trainer.
Fact is that he haven't actually won anything has a trainer since he left Br?ndby in 2006
