Hi, comerades!!!
I wanna to show you my little mod, giving a realistic ability to melt weapon and armor.

Now its 0.5 version i think because not all thinks are avaible.
What it gives for us??

It allowes us to:
Melt iron weapon exept armour (for now), shield and a bow into iron ingots.
Melt steel weapon exept armour (for now), and a bow into steel ingots.
Melt dwarven weapon exept armour (for now), and a bow into dwarven ingots.
Melt gold jewelry into golden ingots.
Melt gold money into golden ingots. (for people, that think they got much money to spend, and wish to fill house with it^^) Current course - 256 Gold to 2 Ingots.
First three positions on its own cathegories at melting pot.

+ little bonus:
To make an axe. (stuff ma beginnt with ;))
Make two black soul gems from two giant soul gems and a daedra heart.

Soon, the mod would be filled with other stuff.
When TES CK would be done i wish to make a very big craft tree, but let it stay at secret. ;)

Screens are not needed i think, everything could be understanded... maybe. If i am wrong - tell me.
I whant to know, does it need for anyone? I think it make prosses in game.. a little bit different...

Here is my mod - http://narod.ru/disk/33390037001/SwordMelting%200.5.rar.html.
Just enter the numbers and press the green button "Скачать".
If you help me with an fileshare site or smth i would be glad. ;)

Sorry for my bad English.
If i found not good place to share - sorry...

This sounds good. I hope, however, that as this already serves purposes of levelling and convenience, that this does not give you a net gain in value. By which I mean you cannot smelt something worth 50 gold into an ingot worth 60 gold. Perhaps there could be some unavoidable loss of material with each attempt.

It's a good idea I tought about it too when I was at the forge but honestly I think that you need to reduice its power overabuse and limit like melting 5 weapons of a kind to get one ore lingot of that type , you loose any pelt or stripes anyway in the process.... sounds good?

I think there should be some kind of mass eqvivalent.
For now you only losing stripes and pelt anyway.
I thing melting 5 swords to one ingot is too hard way. Maybe.

I thought about changing craft system a lot, but i dont understand something in here for now.

Adding flux as a item that can be bought from a blacksmith. And requiring flux to melt a weapon or armor would be a good idea.

Buying Flux as item required to melt weapons and armor into bars. Is a good way to balance the price of selling a weapon vs melting it into bars and selling it.
