Syclonix's Slicker Shooting Mechanics

Description
I made that mod because I was frustrated that many guns in the game have an irregular rate of fire. Sometimes the gun you're using fires really quickly and sometimes really slowly making it difficult to time your shots when there are a lot of enemies around. Slicker Shooting Mechanics improves the responsiveness for Guns, Energy Weapons, Explosives and Melee weapons by employing a consistent rate of fire for each weapon so that the game feels and plays like a real FPS. No longer will you have to guess whether your weapon is going to fire when you pull the trigger. Also, weapon DPS is not affected by this mod so you can be sure that your game will remain balanced.


Install
1. Copy all files into your New Vegas Data folder.
2. Start the New Vegas Launcher, click Data Files, and enable Syc Slicker Shooting Mechanics.esp.
3. If you use other weapon mods load the relevant compatibility patch after both mods and enable it. If the mod you are using doesn't have a compatibility patch you can use FNVedit to make your own merged patch.


Uninstall
1. Start the New Vegas Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.


Compatibility
This mod may not be fully compatible with other mods that modify the same weapons, but you can make them compatible by creating a merged patch using ElminsterEU's awesome FNVedit utility. In fact if you run multiple mods you should always create a merged patch to ensure maximum compatibility between mods. In most cases if you use this mod with a conflicting weapons mod the worst that will happen is that the changes from one mod will work and the other will not depending on your load order.

Def going to give this a shot, when surrounded by creatures it svcks to have the shot you need miss cause you mistimed when it will actually shoot.

Sorry guys. After further testing it appears that my mod has not solved the irregular rate of fire problem. I'm taking down the mod until I can figure out how to address the issue.

FYI the mod is completely safe to continue playing with, it just isn't performing to my expectations.
