Take Up Arms Glitch (Companions)

Post » Tue Feb 21, 2017 12:02 am

So i've reached the glitch where Vilkas ends up attacking you when you finish training with him due to have a companion...

My question is, how important is this first companions quest, hiw important are the companions?

Because i've tried to get around the glitch by leaving the local area a few times and now the autosaves are now all corupt with this glitch and my last manual save is before killing my first dragon (only just started the game), and starting and completing a few side quests... so im wondering if the companions are important is it worth loading the manual save and re-doing the dragon, etc. Or just leave that side quest bugged and carry on...

Can't ever be a werewolf if you don't do the Companions.

The Companions are the Skyrim version of the Fighter's Guild.

There's an entire questline to do, as well as getting you access to being a werewolf.

If those things interest you, you probably want to reload an older save.

Also, keep more than one back-up save. ;) And make new ones occasionally.

Werewolf... SOLD! Lol

First Skyrim game i've played, but with most free roams i play to hit as many side quests as possible. So by the sounds of it this will really benefit me *cry*
