Talos Preacher vs Suplex

Post » Mon Sep 10, 2012 6:44 pm

I'll be blunt... I have played the game for hundreds of hours and genuinely enjoy the game. I usually play a good character as that is what I usually enjoy... usually.

But every time I pass through Whiterun, two people bug me, one guy insists I can't walk up a set of stairs and the other is a preacher. You know him, you know his endless spiel about Talos. I get it, he's a great god... take a day off...

But after passing through the cloud district one too many times I finally gave in to my rage.

Honestly, just watching the video makes me feel a little better.

Standing far back on an elevated position while shooting an arrow into the preacher's head and watching the force of the arrow make him slide across the ground is soo gratifing. Using a crossbow is fun too because they have some serious power and the momentum launches the preacher in the air. I always make sure I save my game then take a quick trip to Whietrun to pay the kind 'ole preacher a visit before I turn my game off!

That finishing move, is that a mod or does it actually come with the game? I've never seen it

Unarmed vanilla finishing move.

You just have to attack from behind, honestly, until I made a hand to hand only character I had never seen it before either.

There's a bunch of mods that add alot of awesome new kill-cam animations. There's some really great unarmed ones.

I also thought this might have been in one of the mods but apparently it's not. Let's get to suplexing!

No man, thats vanilla, Only mods I have are very basic, not very game changing ones.

To be fair, the chance you are going to be *behind* an enemy, with hand to hand, and with them having low enough health to get a killmove is... not common. But major props to the devs for having suplex in the game.
