Does aiming at certain parts of the enemy's body make any difference for how much damage you dish out? I understand that as you level up with a certain weapon you can increase your chance of attaining Critical Hits, but if i aim and shoot a Dragon's tail or a person's arm, will it compute less damage than aiming and hitting their chest or head?
I think adding locational damage would be awesome. The down side would be that I could never again play a warrior because of how fun it would be to snipe people's legs out with a bow and watch them crawl around.
There's no locational damage in Skyrim. A headshot does as much damage as hitting their pinky toe.
The idea of including locational damage (either similar to Fallout or another system entirely) is a serious point of contention on these forums.
Thank You. That is what i highly suspected but i just wanted to be clear on that matter. I always felt better about myself when i aimed at head and center mass areas, but i found i had almost TOO MUCH luck with hitting their hands and forearms! It would be really cool if they came out with locational damage. Maybe it's alot of work to add that too an already-super complex game.
