As we all know Skyrim is set 200 years after oblivion, but in these 200 years technology hasn't advanced whatsoever. I don't mean that I was expecting cars or guns or anything, but some little things maybe.

Also there have been a lot of wars going on, and it seems to be that technology jumps forward massively at times of war, especially weaponry. See world war 2 for an example. If anything, even less weapons are getting used. Do you think skyrim is just really far behind the times, or is all of Tamriel like this?
