Teleporation and levitation

Post » Thu Aug 13, 2009 5:26 pm

One thing I really, really missed in oblivion was the lack of teleportation and levitation.

I disliked having to backtrack through dungeons, when in Morrowind I could easily set a mark at the beginning of a dungeon.

And I really hated circling round mountains, trying to find a way across. Every time I went: 'Oh, for the love of levitation!'

It is one of my biggest hopes that Skyrim will once again feature these nifty spells. What do you think?

Definitely want both of those spells, I really hope they are in Skyrim.

I would rather see a teleportation spell rather than fast travel

At the very least it will make more sense to have teleportation than fast travel and people wouldn't be able to complain about fast traveling breaking immersion because it would actually have a legitimate reason for being able to instantaneously travel from one location to another.

There's already a thread for levitation. (That thread also has a bit of discussion about Mark/Recall, which is pretty much teleporting.)
