I'm to the point in the quest where i am suppose to find Yorn. The only problem is I can't get to where he is on the map. I keep running around solitude trying to find him but I can't. Where is he located? Thanks for any help!

He should be back at the Bard's College. He's always in there when I return from the reading of the poem at the Blue Palace. If he's not there and you're on PC you can try either of these two commands:

prid 000198CF
moveto player

which should move him to your location, or

player.moveto 000198CF

which should move you to his location.

Have there been any dragon attacks on Solitude, or did you finish the CW on the side of the Stormcloaks? I don't know if Jorn is essential and I've never heard of him being killed off by anything that happens in the city, but if he's completely missing from your game that would be the only reason I could think of for it. Unless he *is* essential in which case he should be at the Bard's College. Does the marker make it look like he's in the College, and if not, where is it pointing?

He should be in the College, he was always there when I did the quest. I think he could be in the tavern, too, so you could check, if you haven't yet.

Thank you both for the quick replies! I didn't side with the Stormcloaks, so that shouldn't be a problem. I thought on the map that it looks like he's actually outside of the gates of Solitude, but I will check the college again. Thanks again!

After checking again, he's not at the college. I am at the point in the quest just after singing the song to the jarl and i am told to talk to jorn. It looks like he's located outside of the town, but when i leave the town it tells me to go back inside. Any ideas? Thanks!

If you're on PC, you could always try Lyn1964's codes. You can also try to reload a save (if possible) before that quest point is given, wait a while, and try again.
