Terrible framerate on GTX580

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 8:17 am

Specs:

ASUS GTX580 (OC'd to 940mhz)
AMD 1055T processor @ 3.2GHZ
4GB RAM at 1333mhz

I have heard reports of people running this game at a solid framerate at 1920x1200 on ultra with 4xAA with the same system, yet I can barely pull 30fps? I can max BF3 on ultra with 4xAA better than this game.

Is there any solution apart from to disable AA or V-sync (neither work for me)?

I'm getting like twice your frame rate with my GTX 580. All I can suggest is all the usual diagnostic routines; Update drivers, make sure your 580 is not full of dust, defrag, etc.

Ignore Ulfhedjinn, tons of people are having problems. In fact, it seems the majority of the complainers are the ones with the better PC's such as yourself. So far the only thing I can suggest is to wait for a patch. I'm also in the same boat, my game runs abysmally.

I haven't checked my framerate in the console, but i'm running an i5 2500k with dissappointing FPS and the same gpu, but 8g RAM. I will check, but it feels like 40-50 FPS. I think we'll have to wait for bethesda and nvidia to issue updates that fix issue since some people are reporting gross under utilization of thier high end GPU. Not much we can do at the user end about this.
