TESO: Whats there and whats not.

So i loooove TES, but thats where Bethesda makes it. if Zen were to make it, there will be some mishaps.

-Vampires and Werewolves will be in the game and play as they were in all the single-player games.
-Constellations and Mundus Stones will be in the game and play as the character trait buffers.
-There will be all of the provinces of TES for the game, also all the towns and cities will be there.
-AI's are not the most targeted part of the game. Because of the MMO, they really didn't focus on AIs
-Fast Travel is on the game, which will be great because of the large map.
-Dragons are probably not in the game due to the age of the game.
-Stealth is in the game which makes me think about invisibility and sneaking during multiplayer battles.
-Player Housing will most likely not be in the game because of everything they have to do for the game.
-Marrige is not going to be in the game.
-And last, Like Skyrim, the NPCs will completely be voiced.

They had better limit stealth to a single class or perk... Because if it's something everyone can do, well, if you've ever played against just one Rogue in WoW's Battlegrounds.. Imagine them all being rogues.

I like your points. But I really hope there is no fast travel to be honest. There should definitely be transportation from province to province which would have a fare, but not hopping all over the world freely.

Fast Travel is on the game, which will be great because
of the large map.

I would laugh if it weren't so sad. Oh my dear... Do you really believe the map is "large"? Do you really believe they make a open world like skyrim? This won't gonna happen.

I tell you how this games world will be. You are going to have a map of tamriel. There are some hotspots drawn in. For example one or two Cities of Morrowind. Then you click on this city to travel there. You will enter a city with about 5-6 vendors, 8-10 quest npcs and a surrounding map where you can do you questing-stuff. You can't walk all over morrowind and the other regions.

You can only travel to specific quest hubs or theme parks which are made solely to entertain you. Like the "Planets" in SW:ToR.

sorry but I'm gonna have to doubt you there, most fantasy MMOs are good about including their entire world there, granted yes they will be divided into zones, but then, what TES game isn't already? I'm sure the world won't be nearly as interactive or feel as hand crafted as Morrowind was, but I don't see why they can't put in every province and city as a seamless walk-about, granted with some scaling down of course, I doubt to see Skyrim as big in the MMO as it is in it's own game or have every single dungeon, but I fully expect we'll be able to walk all over it.

Stealth will only be available to a certain class, not everyone will be able to have that skill, that's how it works in a MMO,you have no worry there.

You don't know WTF you are talking about lol,you sound like a right MMO noob.

Exploration will play a major role, many hidden parts of the game can only be found by poking around in dungeons and off-the-path areas.

Fast travel will remain but will be restricted to Wayshrines, which also serve as resurrection points. No fast travel from map.

Does the above sound like you are describing, nice try though.

Time to go with the game or move on,slowly but surly people are excepting that it might actually be okay and are prepared to give the devs a chance, take your BS negativity else where, how about back to that cesspit that you crawled out of called mmorpg.com.

It sounds more like YOU are the nub here.

1. If you had played more than one mmo you would have heard this words dozens of times("Exploration will play a major role"). Just look at SW:ToR and its "Exploration" Ccntent. It means a holocron and a little treasure chest here and there. They told us exactly the same thing. It is nothing compared to skyrim and could describe EVERYTHING and NOTHING. Its just marketing verbiage.
2. I never said "Fast Travel". I said "moving from zone to zone". Its a huge difference since for fast travel you also need slow travel. :P
3. If you had played more than the "one" mmo, you would know that telling you marketing bushwah is the most beloved profession of every so called "lead designer" or "art director". In fact 90% of their work is to present ugly things as beautiful as possible or shortly: "Marketing".

They are not going to rebuild the told part of tamriel zone completly. They are going to fokus on major zones and they are going to connect them either by a zone transition - for example a way on the border of the vivec zone that leads to the Dagon Fel zone, leaving out 90% of the land mass of morrowind - or ships. It's the way the hero engine works.

Stop Dreaming.

well player housing is pointless in an MMO (for me at least) and you can marry anyone just chat :

"want to get married"

the other guy/girl:

"sure why not I'm not doing anything now"

go to chapel/temple/hist tree, stand next to each other and tadaaaaaaaa :P

Player housing is nice, but from what I've seen on other MMO's RP servers, people will just claim an empty house somewhere and move right in, granted it doesn't have any perks of an actual gameplay house but is still nice.

and I do agree with the marriage, to be honest Skyrim's marriage system felt horribly tacked on and had really no value outside of a minor distraction. Most RPGs that try to implement some form of courtship element into their games kind of svck at it, with Harvest Moon and Bioware games being the only exceptions I can think of. I much prefer the idea of if you want to get married, go to an RP server and court another PC and get married that way.

I think stealth classes are the worst thing ever in MMORPGs - where they go automatically 'invisible' unless you get super-SUPER close.

Otherwise, it looks interesting.

I'm with the bacon. The Selective preaches peace in the name of Vehk and Vehk. We should be less speculative, because the game was just announced.

EDIT: Second point got ninja'd

-There will be all of the provinces of TES for the game, also all the towns and cities will be there.

There are issues with these two. The first one is accurate to a degree, they are exactly like NPC Werewolves and Vampires, but are not playable at least in the current build.

The latter is iffy as we do not know if the world is divided into zones, how they are divided or how we move between them (e.g. In some MMOs you move between zones, in others you can explore, Skyrim style, anywhere that isn't a blocked off zone instead. (which are often there for expansions)) If it's the latter it'll be better.

Other than that this info is pretty much correct.

Any fool who thought BioWare were going to make a MMO with great exploration needs to be ridiculed lol, they make some of the most linear RPG know to man.You obviously fell for the Bioware exploration dribble.

2. I never said "Fast Travel". I said "moving from zone to zone". Its a huge difference since for fast travel you also need slow travel.

I don't need lesson on the Hero engine, also TESO is an MMO first and foremost,i have no illusion's whatsoever about that, perhaps you need to take that on board.

Just about every MMO I have played has had a form of fast travel.. The way TESO has it sounds the same as what Vanguard uses.
