No HD texture pack?

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 12:46 pm

Been looking around and Im assuming theres no HD texture pack like what Battlefield 3 had? Was kinda hoping for one, make the xbox a lil prettier tho granted havent seen it yet so not much to compare too. Buying the xbox tonight and then probably get the PC for free as part of the gamesas insiders so either way Ill see it in its prime, just was wondering if there was any word on something like that being released or anything. Thanks

BF3 doesn't have a HD texture pack, the second disc contains the regular textures for you to install. If you just play off the first BF3 disc the textures are not so great.

There is no pack no... why should there be, there is no issue with the game at all unless you install to HDD...

The stupid additional texture pack on BF3 was [censored], i didn't have enough room to install, separate texture packs shouldn't exist..

The texture install from the second disk for BF3 IS the HD texture pack.

Says so right on their website.

Its actually how the game is SUPPOSED to look normally.

They just decided to call it an "HD Texture Pack"

Bethesda are saying it is nothing to do with installing.

Some people are having problems, yet 1up and IGN who are/have been streaming Skyrim tonight said they have installed the game and that texture quality has improved and while watching I'v not seen any low res textures, so I'm assuming its a pick of the draw whether or not you'll experience these issues

Theres no way any console game can have a texture pack, the devs make the game just good enough to run on it, if there is one like for BF3 then they must be lowering other graphical settings in order to get it to work, and I would prefer to keep my draw distances or grass or water over textures any time.
