i have a problem with this game with my new pc Alienware aurora (i7 990x, 6gb ram, gtx580)

if set cache texture on "low" its better. is not normal.... i dont understand. i have big lag with this setting..

Whats the rest of your PC specs. Also i had a similar issue when i would play crysis. Not sure what is the cause of it but that was on an amd card.

In the Nvidia control panel "manage 3D settings" add a game profile for RAGE, by
scrolling to the rage.exe once added go to vertical sync and set to forced on.

Also set Singlie display and Triple buffering to On.
