So, to be clear, I need to go into my normal map and add an alpha channel that is gray? I don't really know much about image editing.
EDIT: I don't think its that, I just went in and replaced my normal maps with vanilla ones, and it still shows up as all black.
EDIT2: I just added a NiAlpha property, and even though I added an identical one to each node, one node came in black as usual, and the rest turned invisible. I'm super confused. Also, it seems like the inside of my ball is visible, but the outside it transparent, so you can see the opposite sides inner wall when you look at it. Is there a way to flip that? (Fixed the inside out problem by checking the Double Sided Shader2 flag. I think a flag is the problem for the other thing too.)
EDIT3: I think my knowledge is a bit limited to attempt to debug this. If someone with some experience wouldn't mind, I could upload this thing somewhere and if someone wouldn't mind taking a look I'd appreciate it.
EDIT4: I saw on a guide that I should have the SF_Skinned flag on, so I checked it. Now my thing is invisible instead of black.
EDIT5: Just noticed that if I add new textures, they actually do get put on, but they are also made incredibly dark.
