TGS 2011

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 3:15 am

It's about that time again for the Tokyo Game Show! Running from September 15-18 (17th and 18th being open to the public), TGS focuses primarily on the Japanese market, though there are still plenty of software/hardware reveals and news that apply to gamers around the world. Coverage can be found at all the usual sources: http://blog.kotaku.com/, http://www.ign.com/events/tgs, http://www.gametrailers.com/tgs/, http://www.1up.com/tgs/, http://www.siliconera.com/, etc. Sony will also be streaming their conference http://tgs.playstation.jp/.

Information:

Pre-TGS Events:

  • Nintendo's 3DS Conference (took place this morning, roundup http://kotaku.com/5839675/3ds-slidepad-pricing-zelda-news-a-3ds-monster-hunter-heres-what-you-missed-last-night)
  • Sony's http://tgs.playstation.jp/ on the 14th
  • http://www.level5-world.jp/ on the 15th.

I started the thread a bit early so that folks could discuss these pre-TGS events as well as talk about what games/announcements they're anticipating! So, have at it! What are you looking forward to? Anyone happen to be going?

I want to see more about the upcoming Phantasy Star Online. From what I seen it looks like a must buy.
