Thalmor Bastards!

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 11:11 am

Anyone else notice that since they downloaded Dawnguard the Wandering Thalmor have become hyper aggressive, attacking me on sight? They carry letters calling for my execution for meddling in Thalmor affairs. Think Bethesda is setting up the next dlc?

Had that happen several times before dawnguard even came out. Do not think it is something new but you never know.

Sometimes they attack me carrying a letter and sometimes I come to them, lying about how I worship Talos... Either way, they end up with their backs on the ground, full of holes with eyes starring right at the sky.

Oh yes, those Thalmor, i provoke them into attacking me so i'll get away with no bounty. :) And if they're all alone and not having any hostages with them i sneak attack them on sight with my bow. :D can't wait to do it with the crossbow. :P

Is it maybe a quest trigger (embassy?) during the course of the game that changes their behavior from "move along human scum filth... uh, citizen" to kill you on sight?

I'm just a thief, I don't have any beef with those elves, I've never meddled in their affairs, I don't need the extra aggro, I already got every guard in every hold giving me the dodgy eye.

What with random vampires attacking towns, murderous Mer writing letters calling for your evisceration and (for some people, not me thankfully) dragons dropping from the skies for some kentucky fried npc... Skyrim is getting to be a pretty dangerous place.

While interesting, OP; this topic would have been better served in the Dawnguard General discussion Forums as nothing in your post contains a Cheat, Hint, nor a Spoiler.

The proper sub-Forum can be located here: http://www.gamesas.com/forum/197-dawnguard-general-discussion/

Huh. Surprisingly, this doesn't happen to often to me. I usually just go to the thalmor embassies, cast a rage spell, and watch them kill each other. And then watch the guards kill the winner.

I though it was just me, I encounted the Thalmor in the wild ONCE in 150 hours before the DLC, I've fought them 4 times in 10 hours with the DLC. LOL.

See, my character is a lawful good, Paladin type, so I have never attacked them in the wild because I dont want the bounty. I did the Embassy quest and thats it. Good to see I have earned their hatred and love giving some back.
