A Thalmor DLC

Would it actually make sense? If they decide to mount a full scale attack on any province ,wouldnt it be one of Cyrodil or Hammerfall?Unless they go by the sea and land in Skyrim ,how would they move there armies there without getting attack by the Empire or the Redguards?

I wouldn't want to see the Thalmor's story wrapped up in a DLC.

It really cheapens the whole plotline. "Oh, look... the Thalmor has brought the Empire to it's knees and is utterly defeated in a span of a few days in Skyrim!"

As for the whole marching-through-the-empire, we're not exactly clear on what the terms of the WGC is; they may hold the ability to move their armies through Imperial territory without retribution. They can already do that to root out Talos Worshippers. Also, the Empire really doesn't want to fight the Thalmor at this point in time- they're still trying to build their forces, and the Civil War (win or lose) is a major drain of resource for them.

As much as I would love to say yes, it would be best for the next game to actually be in the Summerset Isles where you face the Thalmor on their home turf, playoing freedom fighter releasing the innocente elves pulled into their schemes and stopping them from literaly destroying all Tamriel

well if we are speaking about a dlc as big as shivering isles i think it could make sense. You could visit the summerset isles and defeat the masterminds where in skyrim is war. it could be an epic story in my opinion

No, the Thalmor should be DLC. Its not worth making a whole game based on it. Not a chance.

A Thalmor DLC is a potentially great idea, but the storyline needs to be done exceedingly well.

Some have suggested a tussle with the Thalmor that involves the Psijics and the Eye of Magnus. That would be...............something else indeed.
