Allright so I got to the chest where Im supposed to pick up my gear. Suprise I didnt understand how it worked so I didnt leave any gear for the elf to place there. So now Im stuck with magic spells and shouts when I've specced into stamina and 2hander. I ignored sneaking after trying to pass a few of the guards unsuccesfully and just legged to the house where I'm supposed to open this chest with keys and books/scroll. Openend and looted the chest with the objectives. Now I'm lost. I ran to the door that the elf locks up after you loot the chest with your gear in it. I get there it's locked I dont have the key and guards kill me (fyi: the gurads chase me around all the time.) Now, where's the way out and also is there away to restart the mission from when I even got into the Embassy in the first place. I try to use the load feature but it only tells me that I can load to inside the embassy when I have all the guards chasing me around all over the place or to the very first scene where you choose race etc. Please help me out of here!!!!!

I sympathise. I am also stuck. One of the scrolls suggests you head to the dungeon. I think there are some stairs near the chest of quest stuff, which leads to a door to the dungeon, then there are some more steps down and you will overhear a guard torturing/questioning a prisoner. I watched them for a while and when they didn't go away I killed them both and rescued the prisoner, except now he is cowering near a trapdoor that requires a key which I can't find. And it is impossible to get back to the outside world. You are going to find it hard with the guards chasing you, your only choice is probably to try to outrun them, then sneak in a dark place, and hope you become hidden.

Hm, in my save after I had killed the torturer + guard, two new guards appeared from upstairs holding the dude who helped you in the beginning prisoner. I killed the two of them and both had the trapdoor key in which you can escape Be careful of the troll down there btw..

The thing is I'm unavailable to kill any guard at all since I forgot to give my armor and weapons to the elf when he asked for it at the inn. Before you even got to Tharmol... Im considering starting all over again but that's 10 hours of gameplay lost.. hurray....

try looking round a bit there's 1 guy at elawens place with only clothes on and a sword of some sort, kill him using spells the take his sword and kill 1 guard to get their armour then try finish of the rest and once you get all the things form the chests quickly read them, this will update your quest log, then go down to the interrogation chamber (loot the key off a dead guard) and escape oh and beware after you go through the trapdoor there is a frost troll s just sprint outside.

If they don't come, does anyone have any idea where I can go and find one of them to get the key?

Allright folks, what I did was I lowered the difficulty to lowest. Killed the first guard in the interrogation chamber then kill the interrrogater. You talk to the prisoner, you follow the prisoner he stops, the way out's locked. 2 guards appear from where you first entered the chamber. Kill them, after you've picked up the previous guards weapon and armor. All this equals profit and you can continue you're amazing journey through Skyrim! Cheers lads!
