As you can clearly see from my username I am the biggest fan of this game, Its my absolute Favourite FPS of this generation of consoles. For a whole year I have been watching out for this DLC then last night unexpectedly I stumbled upon the add-on for my xbox 360 when I was searching the dash for new releases, You have made one man so very very happy and really made my christmas!! I cannot wait to sink my teeth back Into rage.

So from your No1.Fan thank you guys so so much for making this happen and also for releasing the DLC at an amazing steal at 400msp.

I agree, Rage is too great not to have a DLC and this one is both sweet and cheap for a game that could use all the TLC it can get.

I have to say I thouroughly enjoyed it and I went on to finish the main campaign and also planning to go back and do some of the side quests also. So for me this worked out well and hoping for more but not holding my breath

Big thanks from a major RAGE fan who had the nads to wage war against all the haters over at the Steam forums after release - and they were intense!

id rocks & RAGE remains the best shooter of 2011!!

Doesn't matter, I'd like to say thanks because I'm gonna play Scorchers anyway, and since factual reviews here already state things about it that are better than just the original game, I know I will love it, considering I love Rage despite its flaws.

So what I'm really glad about is that the fans were shown some love. Thanks id

Count me in! Great stuff i enjoyed the DLC more than the game itself thanks to the higher difficulty.
They should keep this game alive.
Hope they learn from their mistakes and make Doom4 an epic game. And who knows maybe Rage2 ?

Indeed, thank you to id software... and it pains me to say it... bethesda as well. I don't think any other publisher has had so much of my money over the past couple of years. Buying both myself and my partner many of their games.

I enjoy RAGE the most. It's a great FPS experience and the RPG elements make it something different/special. The art style is awesome - not everyones cup of tea - but it's something new.

More RAGE! (remember they have always said Doom 4 + RAGE 2, never said anything else)

Yep just finished it and thought it was great. For 4.99 you just can't beat it. COD charges 15 bux for a few MP maps that svck ass. This at least was some solid additional gameplay

I'll say this though. I first tried the DLC fairly nvde, beginning the game with only an existing pistol and machine gun....after about 20 minutes on Nightmare that just wasn't cutting it (those dudes are like a cross between Gearheads and Jackals) So I loaded up an old save file where I progressed pretty much to the end and had everything.....MUCH better to say the least lol (I'm uploading my gameplay to youtube, check out my channel in my siggy)

I originally bought and played rage in February of 2012 so I missed most of the early problems which PC gamer's found. It was the strength of various youtube walk throughs which brought me to buy my first FPS since doom 2.

I found the concept and amazing scenery really great. I then read all the pages on the rage wiki and ended up reading the comics and novel as well.

Having the scorchers DLC was just a great xmas present - I congratulate the devs on completing this and hope they put out more in the future - There is so much they can do with the whole ark survivor scenario which I look forward to seeing.

Scorchers is AMAZING, simply put.

I feel this is how Rage should've started, but it's fine, you learn on the job as you go.
Thanks idSoftware, this is freaking awesome. Every little detail matters, and seeing the mutants fighting bandits AND me was fantastic, I love seeing enemies fighting amongs themselves, makes the world more believable and entertaining.

Scorchers feels totally idsoftware, I can't wait to see what comes next

I've wondered that too. If all it really was was cut-out content then wouldn't it have been out faster? Perhaps there are things in there that are actually new, not just "new."

Whatever the case, this is incredible. Loving the "Ultra-Nightmare" mode, died alot already on one of the scorcher missions, lol, I forgot to buy ammo before going and I ended up running around surrounded by the bastards. Fun as hell though
