So after rushing out and buying the game and installing, I got stuck on Bleak Falls Barrows. Sure the quest marker pointed me to the right dungeon, but the "word wall" wasn't obvious enough, or marked properly by the quest marker, so I had to back track the dungeon eight times, and only found the word wall because I remember seeing it on the demo. Add to this I had to backtrack another 12 times before the "boss" spawned in for me to kill and get the stone, and I am starting to get infuriated with the game design. If I could have played a demo first, I would've known from the intro where I missed the jump and ended up cornered and having to reload, that the game design wasn't up to par, and I probably wouldn't have bought it. If I knew the dungeons were gonna be like a bad "hexen" nightmare (with all the backtracking), I probably wouldn't have bought it either. 150+ dungeons sure...but i am not looking forward to trekking through another one.
And I posted numerous times before it was too late that dual wield should be able to block. Bethesda thought they could do no wrong, and I was flamed for thinking the game would be unbalanced. Well the game is out now, and I was stuck on a single greatsword wielding Draugr for about half an hour, that I could not beat despite my potions and poisons. Lo and behold, I equip a greatsword and "attack spam" not even attempting to block or play strategically, and BOOM hes dead. And people thought this game would be balanced...
