Morrowind being one of my favorite games of the series, I was truly excited to see some nostalgia of it in Dragonborn and I watched the DLC's trailer dozens of times already. I even thought of the first thing I would do once on Solstheim: trying to swim to Morrowind

But Bethesda doesn't really care about any of that. The long term fans and those that made them what they are today, aren't really that important and should in fact just be second rate customers. It seems that for Bethesda we should actually just be glad to even get the DLC.
The news of timed exclusivity for Xbox360 for the first 2 DLCs was done, since we had already got two DLCs that came out first for the Xbox, but it seems those news were not true and all DLC for Skyrim will be a timed exclusive for that console...
Because of all this, for a whole month I have to keep away from forums, youtube videos, wiki entries and whatnot, just to spare myself of possible spoilers from Xbox players. When coming here I just clicked on the "start new topic" button, avoiding everything else...So being a fan of the Elder Scrolls becomes a nuisance for a whole month....
Yes, one month isn't a big deal, but this isn't about the period. This is about how the fans of the series...those that have been "here" since Arena, were relegated to being second rate customers and I really hate being a second rate customer.
For all those reasons, I won't be buying Dragonborn when it finally releases for the PC. It will mark the first time I ever avoided something "Elder Scrolls" related. Because I love the series so much, I will eventually buy it, but at a very large discount. I can't stand giving full price to a company that doesn't value my loyalty as a fan. In fact they clearly show they don't care, because if they did they wouldn't sign this sort of deal with Microsoft or if they did (because it's always about the money) they would do so for lesser DLCs.
And this doesn't mean I wanted it first than the consoles, just because I'm a huge fan of the series. No! It just means I wanted it at the same time as everyone else. Same treatment for everyone. PS3 players above all know what I'm talking about, but in the end we're in the same boat: second rate customers.
Sorry for the rant, but I just had to say it.
