I find it very strange that when I first played Skyrim, I immediately recognised the Nordic-type feel from the Skaal of Solstheim. Now, when I play Dragonborn on PC (woot), I find a strange sense of the Morrowind vibe coming through. The same island serving two different effects...

I've only played a little bit of Solstheim - and since I'm forced to play through the main-quest on my RP-Dunmer character in order to play Dragonborn I won't be able to for a while. Still, the style of buildings and the way people talk, and of course the bonemold armor have already made this DLC a huge sucess even for the nostalgia it gives.

So have any Morrowind fans gotten a Morrowind vibe - or do you think it doesn't match the 2002 title. Has anyone who didn't play Morrowind noticed a shift in tone?
