Is that it?

Okay I just finished the Dawnguard quest last night. I thought Lord Harkon would be harder to kill than the Curator Snow Elf (Sorry, can't remember his name) guy.

So after I win, and the battle is over, Serana stays with me as a follower instead of moving into Mommy & Daddy's place. What about Serana's Mother? I fully expected her to show up after Harkon was dead, but she didn't show and Serana didn't mention her.

I really enjoyed the Dawnguard quest line, but I expected more resolution/closure. Did I miss a step or does something happen after so many days...or is that it?

I think that's it, although Serena isn't a great follower if you're a vampire as she makes you less strong for some reason..

Go back to soul cairn, you can get her mother to come back, she fixes her garden also.

I can go back to Soul Cairn? Do I have to give up half my soul again? I thought Serana's Mother would occupy the castle and fix it up...or Serana would hang out there...

Don''t get me wrong I am happy to have her company as she's pretty good with the ice spikes. I think she's the best follower since Uthgerd passed away (violently).

Now if I could just get Shadowmere to quit getting between me and whatever I am trying to kill.

Have you done all the radiant quests? Also the hidden quests? St. Juibs book, Arvaks skull, reaper shards, paragons, that skooma quests. I'm still working my way through all the dg content on my first character I've done with it and I killed Harkon about a month ago

After a while radiant quests become boring. But that is it, pretty much it nothing big is left to do. Feel the disappoint seep in and bask in the curse of humanity and everything good. Which is that everything must end.

You do not have to give up your soul again for going back into the Soul Cairn, I actually went back there just now to grab some extra loot and tell Valerica of Harkon's death. Harkon was a good boss fight, but the Snow Elf vampire (his name IS really hard to remember) was a pretty hard challenge, and I must say, confronting him was the most epic moment I had in Skyrim hands down.
