When I could sneak up on a dragon and backstab it (to be fair there were certain things that made it be stationary on the ground initially).
When the same dragon flew off and tried to fight a fire adept. The fire adept killed the dragon!
When I then 2-shotted the fire adept.

These are all great stories everyone.

I have two myself:

1. walking up to a shrine. Suddenly a novice necromancer pops out from behind the shine stone. He actually popped out which i've never seen an enemy do as of yet. He starts summoning foes to attack me. As he begins doing this I push the 'draw weapon' button' my character immediately (without hacking/slashing or swinging his sword) enters into a finishing move and just straight stabs the necromancer in the chest. The sword slides out and my foe just falls back and ends up rolling down a tall cliff. All this happened in one fluid motion. It was as if I were playing a quicktime event or something. It was pretty rad to see.

2. I was walking somewhere in the forest area sort of near riften when I saw a fox run up to me. He stood there for a moment then took off in the opposite direction. I was like: "oh how nice, look at the little guy run. He sure is fas...". I cut myself off when I saw a huge shadow fly over me and then I heard "it" land behind me. I turned around and this dragon was right next to me. We just stared at each other for a good 10 seconds. It was as if both of us where waiting to see what the other was going to do. It was both majestic and scary. Eventually we both attacked each other. I think it was a frost dragon, or whatever they are actually called. good times.

Speaking of necromancers, I encountered one that raised a group of dead bandits to act as his bodyguards.

I sneak attacked and killed the necromancer, and all dead bandits fell down in heaps. Of course, the necromancer was the only thing that was keeping the bandits animated, and killing him would cause them all to die again.

Standing atop High Hrothgar and looking out across Whiterun Hold. It took me a while to find Whiterun itself!

Alftand / Blackreach was my first "wow" moment.

I was also very surprised by the fact that Bethesda were able to pull off large battles well in the Civil War questline.

Mine: http://i.imgur.com/13QXV.jpg

That is the moment when all my simple little ideas for what kind of character I was going to play went out the window and who she was to be, dragonborn, came alive.

...

Then he roared a stream of hot dragonfire at her and she went flying ar*se over teacup into a fence. *grin*

Another was walking into the College at Winterhold. So epic. Another character defining moment.

Me and my trusty entourage (horse and housecarl) were heading for an interesting-looking fortification in the distance when a huge shadow passed overhead, followed by the telltale roar of a dragon. After quickly dismounting and preparing for a fight, was surprised to see the dragon wheel around and fly off. So shrugged, mounted up again and headed for that fortification.

That 'interesting' fortification turned out to be full of some very hostile tribal types who immediately poured out to attack. Suddenly, the dragon showed up again and started attacking the small army at the fortification, who were now divided between fighting the dragon and my lot. After a lot of fire and fury the entire enemy garrison had been wiped out and the now badly wounded dragon finally turned its attention to me, though it was barely able to drag its carcass along the ground now. I actually felt too guilty to attack it, but my bloodthirsty companions had no such qualms. So by a twist of (Radiant) fate, the dragon ended up saving my hide and providing a soul at the same time.

First time I saw the plains of Rohan, I mean Whiterun. First dungeon (Bleak Falls), but my one true 'What the...' moment was the Companions Trial. Those who did it will know :P.

When I was remembering what the gameplay video said of Giants being peaceful creatures, I approached one ready to talk to it and 2 others came running at me from all sides, they slapped me with their club and I flew about 50 miles up...True story.

I got separated from my companion, Lydia. About 30 minutes later I got in a fight with two bandits, using flames. Killed one, the last one was charging forward just when I ran out of magicka. He raised his ax high over his head, then *thuck!* he drops dead at my feet with an arrow in his back. I look around and my missing companion Lydia steps out from behind a rock with her bow.

Such an amazing, dramatic, cinematic moment. Just like being in a great adventure movie.

Awesome!

I let the main menu run just to listen to the full theme song, And here I thought the music couldn't get any better than the one from the trailer...
And of course the theme play every time you fight a dragon...eargasm

Awesome moment approaching a pair of giants looking after some mammoths.

I pulled out my bow and assumed sneak mode...and tried getting in close to one of the giants.

He clocked me, and just started snarling and stomping his foot...I took the hint and just ran off.

Love the fact that creatures in game will warn you off and not just run in for the kill!

For me it had to be the first time I went in a dungeon and saw that Bethesda finally stopped making useless interior maps like this one!

Even though I'd seen clips of it, the first finishing move I ever executed was breathtaking.
