So I defeat Lord Harkon, and robbed his castle and return to Fort Dawnguard. As I walk through the Fort I noticed there is a chamber for me, it wasent much but I liked it because it had that cozy, vampire slayer feel to it. I was wondering does Castle Volkihar have similar living conditions if you choose the Vampires or is it completely diffrent?

It's got a nice, cozy layout and some really pretty warm colors.

... and bloody body parts pretty much everywhere, along with humans bleeding all over dinner tables. No way to clean up the mess.

Why would you want to clean up the mess in the Castle? Its suppose to add to the dark theme of the vampires being blood drinking immortal cannibals and the dark feel of the castle, its called aesthetics and it adds more to the castle then some brightly lit, run of the mill castle that a mortal would live in.

It would still be nice if we could upgrade the castle a bit, even if it does stay dark and scary ( which it should). In an interview, Todd said we could "trick out" out strongholds. Maybe I interpreted that wrong...?

Hes back with a vengeance!

I will admit that was quite funny and a valid argument, but i think the reason they left it out was because they never planned on putting it in, we as the community perceived Todd's words as something different.

Agreed. A lot of people assumed that this was going to be included but it was never actually stated. It's why I hate modern journalism. All they do is come to forums like this, read some new event (like with the original spotting of crossbow files) write an article, and then cite no sources. It's how most speculation about Dawnguard blew up.
