The 360 has failed me, it officially svcks

Post » Fri Dec 14, 2012 8:13 am

There are no good multi player games. Multi player games that 2+ people can play together in the same living room. Games for anyone to enjoy.
I think the best it has is Kinect Adventures, and even then finding space is a hassle, and when you do its not really comfort in your living room.
Street Fighter is okay, it just gets frustrating when someone is clearly dominant
Beautiful Katamari is good single player, but multi player is dull and the levels svck.
Doom 3 could probably be one, but there's no local coop.
Fifa, Live/Madden/2k are good ones. But then its like Street Fighter when someone is just a boss.
Rayman Origins is good, but to leave it and pick up it feels stale.

I came to the conclusion that Nintendo has the better console for games.
Games like Mario Kart and Mario party is what I want on the 360. It doesn't have to be Mario, it just has to be good.

If anyone has any good suggestions for 360 games, please post, but I doubt there are any available in N America. Maybe Japan?

Did $10k give u a system that me and you can sit beside each other and enjoy each others company while enjoying a video game together, both playing? Now if I wasn't a hardcoe gamer, would I be able to play with you and enjoy the game with company?

Maybe Trine?

10k on a rig? You dropped something alright. Nah, I'm judging. I take it there are some serious components in that thing? SSDs, dual socket 6 cores, triple/quad GPU SLI/Crossfire, tri-monitor setup, 7.1 dolby and a bazzilionty 1 gigs of ram.

There are plenty of great multiplayer games for the 360. The likleyhood of a game coming out the 360 in Japan only is highly unlikley. I'll agree that Nintendo has the best games to just have a relaxing time with all your friends in the same place but that's never been the 360's angle.

Gears of War, Halo, Left 4 Dead, Portal 2, and Castle Crashers are all enjoyable split screen co-op games.

10K? Seriously? I could never warrant spending that much money on a computer.

Its funny because the 360 is a 4 player gaming system.
Gears of War. Nobody enjoys it. Halo is okay for a bit and then gets dull. Left 4 dead gets dull. Portal 2 also gets boring. For some reason. when we start playing it just comes to a point where its not fun anymore.. even if I'm playing with a casual gamer/non gamer or a a gamer gamer. The games just aren't that fun.. We always end up playing Dreamcast or Super Nintendo. Power Stone. Donkey Kong. Those games are fun. Its funny when I think about how much money was spent on these games and I find that people don't enjoy em,

Maybe Castle Crashers would be a good one to try out.

It's not only the 360 though, this whole online console generation been rather poor for local couch co-op games.

Needs more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_jwVRAyxNs  I'm jealouss by the way. I'd love to have the spare cash for that, but I'm in one of those jobs that pays remarkably little considering the skill set, and I have bills coming out of the walls these days. V. Jealous.

I agree I prefer co-op better, I don't even use live anymore.

So true. Look at all the games that have online co-op but no split screen.

Well if your looking for those type of games than I suggest grabbing the classic TMNT , they're still there I think, games off Live. Double Dragon Neon is another ode to the good ol' days of couch co-op.

I forsee the death of consoles after they finally release the long overdue latest generation (which should of come out at least three years ago.)

Developers skip local co-op in a lot of games because it makes them more money. They don't want two or more people playing the same copy of the game, they want everyone to buy their own copy. More sales and all that [censored].

It's sad, but if everyone just didn't buy games which feature multiplayer but no split-screen then they'd lose the money they could've gained and it would be proven to be more profitable to include split-screen. Otherwise, nothing is gonna change.
