The Absence of Child Skeletons

Post » Sun Jan 09, 2011 3:23 pm

I'm looking for child skeletons to blueprint with Real Time Settler, but I can't find them anywhere in the desert. I've futilely searched Nipton, Matthews Animal Husbandry Farm, the sewers, and a few other places that were devoid of them. Has anyone here come across small skeletons in the Mojave? I remember seeing a couple in Fallout 3, but it looks as though the developers decided against putting them in the game.

I saw some at the Burned Out Farmstead. I've seen them elsewhere too, but I can't remember where - not a named place.

I know I've seen a few. But for the life of me I can't remember where. Is there one in Bloodborne Cave, at the campfire?

Gave the wrong name. It is the Raided Farmstead near Searchlight and Matthews Animal Husbandry Farm. It is right inside the trailer.

There is one in the cave with the Legendary Nightstalker. I think it is near the campfire. Forget the cave's name.

The two skeletons that got to me the most were in FO3. It was couple, on a bed, on their sides, facing each other, and holding one another. We will go out together.

Thanks, guys. I remember seeing them now that you mention it. I can't believe I didn't think to look in those locations.

Mine would have to be the family that was trapped in the drainage chamber. There was a couple with a child that may have died from thirst, hunger, or suicide. It must have been a horrible way to go out.

Worst bit was the child wasn't there I think? There was a room full of toys, the parents skeletons were there with eachother but there was no child...I like to think he survived but...

Yeah Bloodborne cave was the first one I thought of, between Vegas and Bitter Springs.

I swear there was a child skeleton there, but I'm not certain.

Theres a midget skeleton in a trailer with multiple children skeletons, and some advlts.

And I'm not kidding, the skeleton of the midget was smaller than a 9MM pistol.

Nope, I was dead serious.

It may have been a glitch but there were a number of skeletons each smaller then the other.

It's called the burned out homestead or something.

You mean Raided Farmstead? There's only a child and two advlt skeletons there. I would love to see that glitch, though.

On the road to Nellis AFB just to the left before you meet the dude standing in the road to the Boomers. Its part of Wild Wasteland so I'm not sure if the well is always there or just appears for the perk. There is definitely a child skeleton in the well.

Interesting, I didn't know about that. Unfortunately, I can't find the well because I killed Rex.

Because I'm building a child slave prison and child slaughter house with Real Time Settler and needed to know where they are so I can blueprint them. You know, for ambiance. However, I discovered all I have to do is change the scale of a normal skeleton.

Ah, that's disturbing xD However, I think that even the in-game child skeletons are just scaled-down grownup skeletons, they don't have their own "model" I believe.

Yeah, I know that now. I blueprinted one of them and it appeared as an advlt model in my blueprint list. I was pissed, but then I remembered scaling. Now I can have skeletons the size of toddlers all over the place.

I know, but my character is messed up. He's a murderer who loves the taste of child and advlt flesh alike. A true terror of the Mojave. Nobody in the wasteland is safe from his wrath.

Unlikely. The Chosen One is most likely old and decrepit. I would make a delicious aged rump roast out of him/her.
