People, the DLC will not come out on July the 30th.

1. The PSN store/ XBL marketplace only updates on Tuesdays.

2. Even if the guy is staff, he quoted wikipedia, meaning he got his information from that site.
2a. Wikipedia does not literally state that it comes out on the 30th.
2b. Wikipedia's sources for information (as quoted in the bottom) are the bethesda blog pages, none of which state that the DLC will come out the 30th.

EDIT:
further down in the conversation the guy says he verified it with a couple of sources. I still stand by my opinion and will admit im wrong when i see it -_- .... Oh bethesda/ SD you have disappointed me so many times now.

Gstaff at Beth Blog says, "Trying to get some finalized info on the console updates as well as the DLC release. As soon as it's all finalized, I'll let you know."

from admin, how nice of him.

It's not out of the question on a Saturday. XBL has made exceptions in the past,it's just not very likely it will happen then. PSN has been weird since the outage so I have no idea when they release now.

After all this time there is no way the release date would come via wiki. S.D will shout it from the rooftops. There will be fireworks and grand announcements on both sites.

That's balls. I go away on the 29th for 2 weeks and 2 days. :( why would they stop the dlc being free? It's taken them this long to release it, why not just keep it free?

I also doubt it will come out on the 30th. Especially when the Director of Programming for Xbox Live posts http://majornelson.com/2011/07/26/coming-soon-to-the-xbox-live-marketplace-7/ on his blog. No brink anywhere in sight.

3 months late. another reason i think we'll never see this DLC. And what was it going to offer anyway? some new attachments, a costume for each side, and 2 new maps good for... around an hour of fun then its jst going to get repetitive.

Full of bots, yes it does get repetetive. If we get a lobby system that works along with the maps......well, maybe it could be something. The maps also need to be high quality, with multi-level fighting and alternate routes to the objectives.

New maps and new abilities should provide more than an hour's worth of fun in my opinion. Also the patch thats coming out with it will hopefully make things run more smoothly. It will come out, Im sure that they want to get it out as soon as they can. I wish that theyd give us more informative updates on their progress though.
