A few days ago I was trying to defeat a snow troll with lidia my companion helping me out. But we both got pistol-whipped in about 10 secs flat. Fast forward to 2 days later and me and lidia that I equipped her in head to toe steel armour and gave her a magic elf bow and a couple of magic hand to hand weapons summoned a flame atronach and the 3 of us put that same troll to bed in about 5 secs flat. I even went through an entire cave system with my new team ass-kick and I never had to fight anything because the other 2 dispatched them before I even got a chance. its amazing how a couple of days can change you from being the prey to becoming the predator. Anybody else had the same change in fortune.

nope, don't have the game yet. I'm really looking forward to traveling with companions though.

Haha that first troll is a doozy, but ya i was pumped after raising some levels but then i ran into some [censored]'s , fortune ran dry.. again ... love it

Yeah I had the quick change in the fortune too. The first encounter with troll was epic - I leveled up 3 times during the fight with him. Now, I just need to hit him several times with my sword and he is done. Unfortunately.

ugh, just did the first troll today, at level 6 he is a nightmare! took me 5 or 6 tries throwing everything I had at him.

Why is Lydia so popular? I still haven't used a companion. Worried they'll die or get in my way. Level up that conjuration and get yourself two Storm Atronachs. Thems are beast!
