They can't all be main story NPCs, but he's another NPC I'm tempted to murder for their headgear. Maybe he's a companion?

But look at that Shishkebab tho, and that Ripper.

And Nuka Cola bottles designed like little rocket ships.

One thing that just hit me is it looks like this time the shiskebab is actually based around a real sword, unlike in 3 when it was household junk screwed together, this time tho looks like someone picky up a Asian sword and decided to "improve" it.

I can already see a mod that brings back the original Nuka Cola bottles, and gets the name "Nuka Cola Classic". The Shishkebab looks great, like someone modded an actual sword instead of a lawnmower blade. Very nice, very nice indeed. Wonder what kind of mods we can attach to it - maybe a high-intensity flame attachment that burns for more damage, but also burns us a little with each attack?

With cryo being a thing, maybe a mod that makes it do freezing dmg instead of fire?

Oh man so much stuff here. Those weapon mods tho, just wow. Looks like weapons have a lot of flexibility. Hope the 5.56 and 12.7 pistols are ingame.

Very surprising, it looks like everything we thought we knew about guns is wrong.

There appears to be two base weapons "handmade" and "pipe" but these two simple guns each cover everything from revolvers to smg's to machine guns to sniper rifles.

Its hard to grasp the possibilities.

The look of the SM reminds me of FOT, as many of those SM wore armor as well.

Mmm na I dont agree, I think pipe is the one base, the term handmade just refers to the improvised way the pipe weapons does full auto fire, unlike a professionally made pre war gun.

The whole two page spread is all about what the pipe weapon can be.

Still, if "Pipe gun" is just one of the 50 base weapons, it does give an idea of how varied and flexible the crafting system could be.

Perhaps, but some of the pictures on the second page look very similar to the "assault" rifle shown at E3.

Regardless I am happy to see that you can change calibers based on receiver type. That will greatly increase the fun factor.

I'm very glad it's Dark Horse and I really like they layout they've gone with.

This looks better than video game art books from other companies, and it looks even better than Dark Horse's other video game art books.

Unlike the travesties of other video game art books, here there's no breaking art across spreads. There's no way too large text or wasted space. The focus is 100% on the art - and as much of it as possible - and some text when needed.

I hope they will follow this up in the same style with a real Fallout 3 art book and an Oblivion art book!
