I've smithed a weapon, enchanted an item, and alchemically created a potion. No achievement. I'm confused.

i havent done this personally, but i can only think of one thing

did you cheat? even accidentally? using any cheat disables the possibility of getting any achievement ever on that character

if not, then it could be bugged, but i dont really know

haven''t had the problem got the achievement. I did notice that there sometimes seems to be delay with achievements showing up even after you get the pop up when in game try rebooting stream and such?

If you've used any console commands, your character will be unable to unlock achievements.

I got the achievement. Nevermind. Was lagging and I was using a hack that forced the game to play in a borderless window that also had the side effect of crippling Steam, so no pop-up.

Borderless window mode should really be standard these days.

This wouldn't matter, I was playing around with console commands on a new character for the lulz, fave myself some words and dragon souls, but i didnt kill the first dragon, so i used the console command to complete all quests... game gave me a bunch of achievements and only stopped because i used the 'qqq' commands (quick quit).
