The Atronach Stone.

So, I'm currently running through The College questline, and I came across a Draugr Scourge in Saarthal. Halfway into the combat, he shouted at me with the common Fus Do Rah and it pushed me back, then a moment later he did it once more, but instead I found I absorbed the Thu'um and nothing happened to me. Not complaining as it feels kind of epic that my Dragonborn can absorb Thu'ums but...

I've been noticing my character absorbing diseases as well. My question is this, has anyone else had this happen? And is it intended, or game flaw regarding everything as 'magic'?

Cause as of right now, I'm basically running around with a character that is resistant against disease, and has a 50% of ignoring Thu'um's used by NPC's.

We don't know if its intended but it does happen to me. That and the atronach stone absorbing my summons.

So it'll absorb summons as well? That's no good..

I planned on keeping the Atronach Stone as my primary for my builds but.. seems it'll do more harm then good with a Conjurer.

The Thu'um is an ancient form of magic, so its not unrealistic for you to be able to absorb it. The major difference is, instead of accumulating magicka and using it to cast spells, you use your own essence to fuel the magic. In death (draugr) and dragons seem to be able to handle the drain much more frequently than the fragile mortal body.

As for disease, some of them seem to be of magic origin, but its more of an oversight. They technically fall under the magic category in the Creation Kit.
