Hey all:

I wanted to know if anyone has found any great skyrim roleplaying let's plays on youtube. I mean playthroughs were the player focuses on developing character and creative quest solving when possible instead of just killing everything and running about everywhere.

I've found this one by http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4361E3632506773F that I've found very enjoyable. He does this fantastic montages when his character is walking the land or sleeping...so cool.

Any others, especially since http://www.youtube.com/user/gixG17 is no longer updating?

Nagidal146 has a let's play that in some ways reminds me of Gix's. He takes his time and plays DiD. He plays a Khajiit thief and really gets into it. His German accent makes him sound like a Khajiit.

Sadly I don't know any good RP let's Plays. I know Ghost Robo's Let's Play of Skyrim but it's mostly just a perky player just playing the game.

However, Gix hasn't uploaded for months like you said, while Nagidal has over 100 episodes already! (I'm not even half way through!)

Nagidal might be a bit slow at the beginning, but after that it's nice and smooth, and he knows a lot about the lore.

I agree with this, i very much enjoy GixG17's lets plays of Morrowind and Oblivion, his Skyrim lets play started well but has been on hold after his computer died. Nagidal146 i only recently started watching and find his lets play very good.

Veriax and Gix are the best RP let's plays in my opinion. (If gix ever get's a new computer lol) And Veriax has many great LP videos his Morrowind and Oblivion Lp's are the best though.

Variax's interactive lets play of Morrowind is fantastic, i am actually ashamed i forgot to mention him. Although don't dare mention Skyrim to him...

I've actually watched all of Nagidal's LP and yes, he does a good job. But I found I liked YangShengji's MUCH better because:

He roleplays in a "deeper"? way than Nag does. I really feel I am watching his character rather than watching a player manipulate a game.

His montages when he is walking makes it seem like I'm watching a mini-movie. I keep seeing that LOTR scene when Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli are chasing the hobbits. And the montages are set to music - nice.

I like that he is using mods and letting us see them in action and telling us what they are in the desc. So I learn more about what good mods are out there.

He just seems like a nice fellow (nagidal does too).

Oh and also, Nagidal's dead is dead style certainly adds tension, but watching him run away from so many things gets tedious. *shrug*

ETA: I thought of another reason why Yang trumps Nag overall: Yang edits the boring parts out of his videos. Much nicer to watch.
