The best of the best.

Best of the Best.

This is going to be a topic that discusses the best things in Skyrim.

Best sky, best town, best potion, best weapon, best perk etc....

It doesn't have to be the best in the game just the best things you've come across. If possible add a location if possible. If you'd like even ask here to find out what's the best. Like me I want to know what is the best horse and house and where they are.

For me the best bow is the elvin bow that I stole from Dragonsreach.

Warning: if you like finding stuff on your own then this post may have spoilers.

The best armor for mages I have seen so far is the Arch-mage cloak.

- Best House: Solitude. You have to do that little quest for the Jarl/Steward first. It's 25k septims though, and probably around 10k more to fully decorate.
Spoiler
- The best horse is most likely shadowmere, but Solitude's horses are really nice too
- With all the smithing and everything, there really isn't a "best" weapon since it's so easily exploited. Daedric weapons and armor are the best in their vanilla form though. They start to appear around level 40.
- In my opinion, ebony armor is the best looking, followed by
Spoiler
Nightengale armor. Nightengale armor is obtained by completing the Thieves Guild quest line.
Also,
Spoiler
by completing Boethiah's quest to kill some guy, you get the Ebony Mail armor which silences you while sneaking and actually emits a poison while you are sneaking, that poisons people that get too close.

- These guys have some crazy masks that have huge powers (you've probably encountered at least one): http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragon_Priest

I'm going to fully complete the game first and then create my next character with all the best equipment in mind.
