I have made everything except the age (doh!) multiple choice, but please try to select only your favourite, or 2-3 if you are unsure which one you would vote for.

Please comment as well, specially if you chose Other!

I would like to get an interesting discussion going regarding this, but no trolling or flaming please

From the MMO list, the only ones that are worth anything are: DAoC, EVE, Planetside, TSW and WoW (and a qualified "ok" to GW).
The rest are glaciar failures as games and I feel ashamed as an MMO gamer that they were ever published.

Why have you put EQ&EQ2 together? They are completely different games, i loved EQ but like EQ2 far less even though i played it.

Nearly agree, I would add AoC and EQ 1 and 2 to your list though.

However, I added all of those games to get a wide variety of the MMO market represented in the poll, and I am curious to see the results


I agree, and sorry about that. The reason is as stated above that I wanted to get a wide spectrum of MMO's in the poll, and you cannot add more than 20 to the poll, so I opted to put EQ 1 and 2 together. Same goes for Guild Wars 1 and 2 even though they are also quite different games.

I don't know if I really have an all time favorite MMO (unlike single player games where I know my all time favorite is Morrowind). I picked WoW because that's the one I played the longest. But I also enjoyed GW1 & 2 and The Secret World. I just didn't play them as long.

Personally, I'm looking forward to ESO (obviously), EQNext and Neverwinter.

Games I think will have longevity: WoW (until Blizz pulls the plug) and I think ESO could as well. It just depends on what ZOS does with it.

Surprised Aion isn't on the list. I had fun playing that one too.

I made it a multiple choice exactly for the reason that you may not have one clear favourite so you can vote for 2 or 3 games if you like

Sorry about not adding Aion (and a few others as well), but I had reached the poll limit and could not add more games, hence the Other option.

No Warhammer Online? AFAIK other MMOs follow the WOW style of PVP (which I don't enjoy), DAOC and WAR both had RvR and castles sieges (just like TESO) and the PvP was great. That's what interest me more, that the PVP will be like DAOC/WAR.

I haven't played any MMOs. Perhaps I'll give TESO a go, if it turns out to be awesome.
