The books of Skyrim

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 11:41 am

So I'll admit I never really liked to read any of the books in Oblivon, but now I've taken time to stop and read books that sound interesting to me. I have to say after reading a few books I've found throughout Skyrim I definately missed out on good books in Oblivion. I've read a few interesting books such as The Dreamstride, some book about the Red Eagle, the book on the story of the nord named something something One eye (lol sorry I can't remember his name) anyway he supposedly bested a really old and powerful dragon who's named started with an N I think -Numinex? something like that perhaps?

Anyway I was thinking for those of you who have been reading books feel free to share the ones you read that were interesting to you, I'm sure others including myself will want to know the books name so we can read it :)

Happy reading :D

I like reading the history books myself, although some of the storybooks that I read were pretty interesting.

I don't know if they've made it to Skyrim from Oblivion, but if they have, you should read 'Palla', I believe there are two volumes.

Now it just accured to me but do you gain certain mini quests from reading books? I'm not sure if I gained this quest from reading about it or if I overheared gossip about it but I'm doing a quest called Forbidden Legend and I swear I've read about this somewhere before I actually started going through with the quest, same as Red Eagle.

'Palla' was an excellent short story. One of the volumes was very rare as I recall. I hope it's back, just so I can read it again. Thanks for reminding me of it.
