The Borg - Pro's an Con's

Post » Sat Aug 17, 2013 10:49 pm

Now I'm sure most of us have heard of The Borg even those that never watched Star Trek.

As for the title are they any pro's at all about been part of the collective or is it all just con's.

For the state of this discussion let's assume your Seven of Nine an you have just regained your individuality but are still joined to the collective.

It'd make cheating on tests a lot easier.

You become part of the collective. You all share the same memories, thoughts, and experiences. You also get killer implants and access to some of the most advanced technology around.

My view is biased, and as such I see no cons.

Cons: Total loss of morality, decimation of the autonomy of the sentient races of the galaxy, a nanophysical plague that will sweep clean the known universe over time.

Pros: Seven of Nine. :hubbahubba:

By the way OP, "and" is still spelled with a "d" at the end.
