The BugsIssues Aren't The Problem

It is obvious there is a problem with the game, the entire gaming community could be placated if some sort of official response was put out there. The last response we got was via Carmack's Twitter when he told everyone to update their drivers (insulting to say the least).

We understand you have a PR department and operate under certain restrictions, but let's face it, you have multiple forums filled with user's who are having issues, how hard would it be to craft a simple response that says:

"We have seen there has been a lot of activity on the forums regarding issues with running the game. We, unfortunately, do not have any further information at this time, but rest assured we are taking these issues seriously and will investigate them immediately."

Something, anything. Let us know you hear us. We paid you and you didn't deliver, the least you can do is reassure us that you are still trying to hold up your end of the bargain.

I don't understand why gaming companies lack the understanding that something as simple as: "We hear you," can have such a huge, positive impact.

I for one am completely unable to run the game at all, it seems to stutter/freeze every second/2seconds. Knowing that someone is investigating this so I can rest assured I may be able to one day use a product I paid for, would go a long, long way.

Well said! An official acknowledgement of the PC texture problems would put a lot of people's mind at ease. The silence makes people wonder if it will ever get patched, or if the problem is so severe that even patching can't help.

We all paid $60 hard earned dollars for this game without waiting for feedback from others. We had faith that a company with a proven track record of delivering quality products would do so again with RAGE. This money could have been spent on other forms of entertainment, and we wouldn't be sitting here with a $60 piece of software that isn't worth playing in it's current state.
