Hey Guys

Just wondering if anyone can be so kind as to post in which order the main questline should be followed?. Ive got a lot of quests building up, and i want to do them in the correct order, so as to avoid any potential issues down the line.

Going by what ive heard [censored] can happen if you do quests before they should of got done?. Am i wrong to think that? Should i just continue picking whatever quest takes my fancy at that exact moment, and do it, not worrying about that kind of stuff?.

Any help is appreciated. Btw i'm level 32 and around 60 hours in.

Either totally ignore the "join the imperial legion / stormcloaks" quests completely until you've finished all the dragon stuff, or vice versa.

All the dragon stuff?. How do you mean?.

I guess im just having a hard time keeping track of what quests i should be doing next (regards main quests that is)

The dragon questline is "the" main quest line. The one that deals with all things dragon-related. The other two side quests you'll pick up as you go along deal with joining either the stormcloaks or the imperial legion for resolving the civil war that's going on. You can't do both of those at the same time or the civil war questline and the dragon questline simultaneously as some stuff will get stuck partway through.

I know its a hard question, but do you (or anyone else) know how i can get back onto the main quest line?. I really am lost regards what ive done and whats next to do.

Oh btw it shows ive collected 11 Dragon Souls, so i guess ive killed 11?

What have you done so far with dragon-related things? Killed many of them? Been to High Hrothgar? Gotten the horn of Jurgen Windcaller? Where are you with that line of events? Or if you could just post the list of quests you currently have in your quests menu that aren't complete I could tell you which is the next one for the main questline.

Here is the list of quests i currently have available to do. I wont post the misc quests as i literally have a [censored] load.......lol.

Joining the legion

In my quest log the list is reversed meaning the "Lights Out" quest is actually at the top, and "In my time of need" is at the bottom of the quests log.

Alduin's Wall is the one you'll want to work on next. Don't do anything in the joining the legion or anything for Ulfric and the stormcloaks until you've followed that questline with Alduin's wall completely to the end.

Well going by this list the last mainline quest i completed according to my "done" list was A Cornered Rat

So if im correct i should just do the "Alduins Wall" quest?

Yep. I'd follow that list all the way through to the end and not do anything else until it's completely finished. There are a number of other quests that have a tendency to go wonky if you try to do them during different sections of this questline so it's worth getting it all out of the way and then moving on with other stuff.

By the way ,
Paarthurnax is a completely optional main quest that can be completed at any point after The Fallen , or not at all . The only thing that happens if you don't do it is you lose the friendship of the Blades until it is done .
Also , if you never started the civil war questline , you will likely NOT get Season Unending as it deals with getting both sides to call a temporary truce .

If , however you have started the civil war line and progressed past the first one or two quests , you may need to finish your current civil war quest , or Season Unending may appear to be stuck , you'll know what I mean if you get there .

Is it ok to stop after Elder Knowledge, then start & finish the Civil War quest line, then go back to the Main Quest?
It's more important to me to get the civil war trophies so I don't care about not getting Season unending. If I do this can my main quest still continue to completion? I need those 3 last shouts to get Thuum master, plus the remaining main quest trophies. I'm @ 70% trophies.
