Everyone is talking about this one trophy and I haven't heard one comment about "condemned to repeat it" where you decide the fate of the divide dwellers. I wana see who they are and how we get to decide their future

I can't say I'm convinced, in Honest Hearts dialouge with Joshua Graham implies that the Courier hasn't even heard of the Divide before, or the incident thay happend there. Sure, it's optional but it still makes it seem pretty unlikely.

But the Courier has amnesia due to a bullet in the head.

One of the achievements are "Hometown Hero". Suggesting that the Courier's home town is in the Divide.

J. Sawyer or one of the other devs (forget who) confirmed the Courier does NOT have amnesia.

No, he remembers who shot him. He simply doesn't know details about them, hence why he asks others for info about them and where they might be.
The Courier does NOT have any sort of amnesia at all.

It could mean anything. I don't think his/her hometown is The Divide.

But not knowing where you're from doesn't mean amnesia. You could legit not know where you're from, just like some people don't know who their father is or what day they were born.

Though again, that is optional dialogue, and it contradicts the Courier saying he/she regrets their mother in the opening tutorial. Plus there is that line with the Lone Drifter about getting a woman pregnant, though we can assume its not hard canon since it only appears if you have a certain perk. Come to think of it, if they let you choose at least some back-story there, perhaps they’ll give the player some input on the Courier's background in TLR. Hell, before the game came out there were rumours that you'd be able to play through multiple back stories for the Courier. It was dismissed by the Devs, and was most likely just a rumour since one potential back-story you could choose was a Ghoulified Chinese spy). Still, perhaps it had a grain of truth, and it would probably be the best choice to suit everyone since people who want the Courier to have a past get what they want, but it wouldn't force anything on people who prefer to role play.

I don't know if the Divide is where the Courier came from but I would love some mention that S/he is a descendant of the Chosen One.

The Devs already stated that the Courier does not have amnesia.

So you're saying that you don't think the Courier has amnesia, except the courier has memory loss? You've got me at a loss here.

I don't know if the Divide is where the Courier came from but I would love some mention that S/he is a descendant of the Chosen One.

Why? That would be worse fan service than BOS, Harold, Enclave, SM, etc. in FO3. Please no.

I don't believe it would be anywhere close to being worse fan service as the crap Bethesda pulled in Fallout 3.

It doesn't have to be out right explained that S/he is a descendant of the Chosen One. Just have an item from the Vault Dweller/Chosen at the Couriers place, if s/he does have a "home town."

I know there is the weathered 10mm and the Vault 13 can and Vault Suit that comes with the classic pack but that is just a none canon bonus.

If the Courier does not have a "home town" then I don't want it. Just if there is.

Sure, it wouldn't be as implausible as those I'll give you that, it's just that it seems utterly worthless and unwarranted. What I'd rather they do is keep the Couriers story open so you can RP as a descendant if you pleased, just like you've been able to since the beginning of the game. I wouldn't feel this way if it was just an item to imply that the Chosen One or Vault Dweller visited the Divide (hell, geographically, it makes complete sense that the Vault Dweller especially would have passed right through it), but I just see no reason to imply the Courier is a descendant, especially when it's as inconsequential as you describe. Personally, I'd rather find Cassidy's skeleton with a note to Cass, and some dialogue to go with it instead.

That would be pretty cool.

Some item in the very least and heirloom possibly from the Chosen One.

One thing I would love above all else to come across in the Divide, would be to come across skeletons dressed in BoS leather armour with the MWBoS symbol on it. Next to them a busted and rusty Behemoth Robot, Humanoid or Pacification Robot.
