The Courier Shot in the Head Twice? : Fallout: New Vegas

I was playing the House storyline recently and had gotten to the end with 100 speech skill. I passed all on Lanius' speech checks, when he said that two bullets had left their mark on the courier. Did Benny shoot twice? It seems unlikely. Maybe Ulysses shot the courier also? Post theories here.

Eh, you'll come across about 50/50. Theres a lot here that beleive Benny double tapped, and a lot that beleive Ulysses shot him in the head once. :shrug: Honestly I'm starting to think Ulysses popped him once.

If the Courier was shot twice, it doesn't necessarily mean that both bullets went into his head (although we know for certain that one of them did).

I've actually never heard the Ulysses shooting him theory before. That actually makes sense to when you think about all the clues they put in the game about Ulysses and your past together, and their whole little plot within the plot thing.

Unless one just grazed the courier, I'd say both entered his head, as Lanius says there are two bullet scars on the courier's face

Perhaps I should clarify then: Both bullets didn't enter the Courier's brain. Maybe one of them did. Maybe the other shattered his cheek/jaw/whatever.

Ulysses shooting the courier would make sense, as at the end of the game it says, "And so The Courier who had cheated death in the cemetery outside Goodsprings cheated death once again." This implies that he cheated death before?

No, benny shoots twice. I remember about 3 npcs talking about it.

I'm pretty sure :/ ask johnston Nash, exhaust all benny dialogue, it's in there somewhere.

He cheated death at hoover dam ~ kicking any HUGE faction with millions of warriors that he wants to that could easily kill him's ass out of Nevada, and leading whoever he likes to victory.

Well seeing as the NCR has a population of roughly 700,00 as of 2241 you're probably right
