The Days Until Our End

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 4:33 pm

There are 5 days and 11 hours left at the time this thread is made, how will you be spending your week? Will you lurk the forums for every last detail, or back away, eager to find out on your own? How will you be preparing? Trying to get off of work for those couple days (Or try to sneak your way out of school), will you have friends over or hoard the game to yourself. Seriously, I'm interested to know, this is the only thread I'll try to monitor from now on, I accidentally glanced at a juicy spoiler about five minutes ago that ruined what would have been awesome to find later on in the game. Heck, even that could be included in your comment.

(What have you found that you didn't want to know? Please just put it in a spoiler tab so that evasive eyes don't glance at it against their will.)

Want to keep better tabs on the time until your social life comes to an end? Go to http://skyrim2011.info/ to watch and count down.

What I will be doing:
- Trying to clear my work for those three days.
- Trying to avoid the rest of the "Good Stuff"
- I may be bringing over some friends to enjoy it with me, I might not. ;)
- Energy Drinks. Energy Drinks. Energy Drinks. I'm going to be having a bit of a marathon, :mohawk:

Here is the unfortunate spoiler that I'd fallen upon:

Spoiler
Apparently the Companions are led by the Circle, which is a council/higher up group led by werewolves. For me, learning that Werewolves are included first off was enough, but that actually pushes my limit on what I wanted to know. Sad... sad indeed. :[

Personally I've been losing sleep over this game for several weeks now. I can't seem to sleep more than an hour at a time and when I wake up the theme song is playing in my head. I've been basically lurking all around the internet for every detail I can find and stumbled upon the leaks. I won't say anything about them obviously but watching so many of them is actually making me feel burned out from Skyrim before even touching it. I really hope they decide to release it next Tuesday since it's already been leaked and hundreds of people already have their hands on it. Regardless though I simply cannot wait for this game to release.

Well, I've learned that I have to go to my father's house the day Skyrim comes out, so i won't be able to play it on my own TV :/

I'm mostly just spending my time doing things that ARENT related to Skyrim. Did my college orientation yesterday, played some SWAT 4 with some random german people (of which one said we should vote for him as leader since he was, I quote, "not Justin Bieber"). And for the rest of the week I'll probably play SWAT4, STALKER, and some Minecraft. Ta-daa, there goes my week. Also Church. Church takes up another day.

Try to finish all upcoming schoolwork.
Will try to stay away from the forums, although I'd like to see more than I should.

Hard to believe the game is out for us in only 5 days, and some odd hours. Its been an interesting run up to now. I guess I'll just do what I normally do; just live life, and try to make the time go faster.

I've learned a few spoilers over the past few days, the biggest of which is the same as what you mentioned. I don't regret learning about it though, just that much more excited now! Anyway now I'm trying to just look at threads that offer some speculation. I'll probably abandon the forums on Tuesday or Wednesday. I few friends are planning on coming over to my place and set up their gear here, we figure having 3 or 4 of us running around discovering the world will be a good time and allow for us to share our experiences. Pizza and beer will be the main lifelines for our weekend adventure. :foodndrink:

Normally I like to be kept in the dark about a game, but with Skyrim it's been SO interesting I've read almost everything there is to know about it! CAN'T WAIT! :celebration:

Still going to school that Friday. I will drive myself to Gamestop as soon as I get home to pick up the game already paid. Then its probably play through the night until I can go without sleep no longer.

Okay, seriously!!! HOW MANY FREAKING MULTIPLES OF TOPICS ARE THERE GOING TO BE MADE ABOUT THE SAME CRAP!

Get a life people, I couldn't care less about what I'm doing until Skyrim comes out. I'm not losing sleep, not missing work, or neglecting friends nor a girlfriend as I'm single, etc.

Just please, shut up about this crap. I'm excited about this game JUST as much as everyone else, but I'm sick and tired of seeing the SAME IRRELEVANT Topics in the front page of the Forums day after day! Hmm, I don't know, why don't you think of something RELEVANT to discuss! :slap:

Oh my god, shut the hell up. If you don't like the thread, then why don't you; Hmm, I don't know.. Why don't you ignore the bloody thread, and NOT POST IN IT? Try not to be a [censored]ing chode in the future.
