The Dovah word for "thing" : V

I cannot find it anywhere on the Internet, the word "thing" is actually a very common word it would seem, and I've been stuck in my book without it. The "thing", every"thing", etc, etc. Help? Does anyone know what it is? Or what is close enough?

Haha, very funny, I guess when I said, "I searched the Internet and can't find it anywhere," I wasn't clear enough. So I'll say it now again, I searched nearly 40 sites in total without finding my answer, the Beth forums being my last resort. I'm aware of Ctrl+F, The wiki that was linked above was the very first page I went to when I began my search...

That's what I'm considering, Nii is also a close second, because I can use the old excuse, "things never translate perfectly into another language." Like, take for instance, Daar lovaas, nii los aan suleykori gein. This music, it is a power full one. Taking the n, or (y) in this case, off of Orin, which means even. An adverb that can mean fully or quite. Taking fully, Orin, to Ori, for full. Gein being used for one, which was supposed to be "thing." Nii could also work though. This music, it is a power full it. Sounds like you tried to use Google translate to translate some German to English.

I believe krosis is the word for thing. I picked up a face prosthetic thing which is called krosis. It is logical that krosis is the word for a thing.

Krosis is often used for apologies, and its also used to convey feelings of sorrow or describe such.

In other words, it does not mean "thing".

It's weird to hear Paarthunax say Krosis when I'm wearing his mask. I don't get why that dragon priest was so named, I mean, he didn't seem very apologetic when I fought him. On a real word note, "dong xi" means thing in Chinese.

Created languages operate differently when important words are missing(thing is an important word in this case - you are trying to convey something as an object). You have to get creative with existing words/verb/adj use to get your meaning across. Krosis however doesn't fit the bill.

Paarthy just does that because you are wearing the mask of Krosis. I think its self-explanatory why all the Dragon Priests, Miraak from DB included are all names in the Dragon Language.

Krosis himself is not a representative of apologetic nature. He is a representative of despair. Sorrow.
