The Download Wasteland......

Post » Mon May 20, 2013 10:13 am

The light is http://www.ipicit.net/picit/1369015293.3785.iPicit.jpg .........

It is now 10:02...76%.... All light has since faded to an oblique wasteland of pity and mournful souls willing in an eternity of spite and malpractice......the last breaths of light and hope now gone. A sad reminder of what was and what shall never be......

Anyone else ever have incredibly long downloads? How do they make you feel? I which to mourn those feelings as the ashen grey hues of eternal boredom rest upon me. (AP English next year, just practicing some vocabulary :) ) but seriously OBLIVION WHY U NO FINISH!?

Edit: 10:16 79%

I never thought it would be worth buying a new harddrive for it so I still have the 25GB or whatever the default one was. I can't play some of my games now because I can't fit the updates on there.

I bought Skyrim on launch day as soon as my place of employment opened (I worked at a large electronics store at the time so I got my co-workers to let me in. I grabbed my copy and stood at the counter until 10 AM, haha). I rushed home and began installing it on my PC, then Steam decided it wanted to update itself, then update Skyrim, then fail over and over again at either. I had a full shift starting at 3 PM and it was fun to see it all whittled away with the updates, which took ages.

This happened to me the other day haha. I was installing X3 and it was 3GB from being done, I paused it for a second and resumed it and it randomly finished.

I still have flash backs to when I installed Skyrim in my PC. It's become a part of who I am.
