Nope. Being Dragonborn is a gift from Akaktosh, and not ancestry.

The answer is the lore makes no [censored] sense so don't bother.
But if you insist, the Book of the Dragonborn claims it's a blessing, not hereditary. It just happens to be a blessing that one family received over and over and over again.
So the answer is a conclusive maybe.

Nothing indicates that the Dragonborn has inherited his/her power from his/her parents, it's a blessing from Akatosh. If the Dragonborn's children will be Dragonborn as well... Who knows?

So, he was just born and Akatosh gave him the gift? lol.

It is often repeated that the Dragonblood is not heredetary, so if you had a son he'd stand no better chance than anyone else, so no special abilities owing to heritage.

The Dragonboran was "selected" by (most likely) Akatosh to be what he or she is. No dragons involved.

Apparently Akatosh thought the time had come for a new Dragonborn. Been a while since the last one, after all.

The book claims it's just given to them at some point in time (doesn't specify), and that it being hereditary is a common misconception because it just so happens that every single member of the entire Septim family got it.

But of course this begs the question of how likely it is for such an event to repeat with the next Dragonborn family.
