I dont see how they can deal with our player character in the lore after skyrim. With potentially a lvl81 character, full daedric armor that is super enchanted with dual enchants, an arsenal of really powerful dragon shouts and the artifacts you are carrying, coupled with a mastery of stealth, magic and combat - you are simply too powerful. It is not too far to say your character has demigodlike powers.

My dragonborn is evil, twisted and powerhungry. If not for game limitations I could easily have become the ruler of skyrim, or the empire - myself.

It feels really off that the dragonborn would just retire. And even more stupid that you should die.

So my question is, WTH is Bethesda gonna do with the dragonborn in the future?

I cant see these happening:

1) Retires.
2) Dies of old age doing nothing with his power.
3) Dies in combat.

And they cant really put him in a powerful position either. If he becomes a good guy, it will anger evil-players. If he becomes a tyrant or bad guy, the good players will hate it.

I hope they release an expansion whe you can become the emporer or a Jarl at least. Maybe even build your own city. The problem with all of these is that if you became emporer , I doubt you'd be walking around performing petty tasks for peasants on your own , and guards would get in the way. I would maybe like to have an option where you can lead a band of mercenairies and build your own fortress. Craft your own style armours , create your own flags and stuff like that. Maybe you could then go and attack cities. And start taking control of skyrim? There are many possibilities for this game but the problem is many would completely change skyrim.

Even the mightiest of men can fall to a dagger in the back, or the weariness of old age.

Way, way, waaay ahead of you pal. That's exactly what I've been aiming at doing since Day 1 on the PC version! My city's going to be in Falkreath, by the way, so keep your sticky little fingers off it! I mean, it's got EVERYTHING going for it. Perfect strategic position in Skyrim between Cyrodiil and Hammerfell, protected from attacks by mountains all around, heavily wooded, and nice and picturesque to boot! My future aim is to build up a good size army in order to have a good go at those dastardly Thalmor.

Due to being able to make spells and having access to more than five times as many spell effects, my old Nerevarine could defeat my new Dragonborn with one hand behind his back, blindfolded.

Levels of power dont really matter though.
In TES, a hero rises when he is needed and then fades away again.
It happened with the Nerevarine, with the Champion of Cyrodiil and it will likely happen to the Dragonborn.
Nothing has or needs to be done with them in lore, they are just never mentioned again.
Their story is over.

You're Dragonborn???? Well i'm pretty sure you will never hear of him. Probably.. Die of old age. If possible. (Never Read the lore that much)



In the next game, if set Forward I bet you would be in a book of some sort.

My first attack would be to fly in while invisible, blast the Dragonborn with a strong damage strength and damage skill, that he has no defences against or ways to recover from, then teleport out.
Second wave Id disintegrate his armour, but this time before the Nerevarine 'ported out he would summon eight daedra..

And don't worry about extreme modding like this changing Skyrim. If we're to look at this in a natural context it's only a matter of evolution. I mean, how much do you think your home town's changed in the last hundred or so years? And I see no reason why things can't be the same in Tamriel. Where there was once a tiny village now stands a massive city! In my case I'll be turning the whole of Falkreath into a walled hold, which will roughly follow the boundaries of the hold as seen on the map, with some slight changes here and there for strategic purposes.
