The Drop Box

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:23 pm

Hehe, I just found the drop box in the BOS bunker and 900 Sierra Madre chips. What a great surprise! I hope I stumble across more "secrets" like this and Veronica's reward.

I think the drop box refills every now and then I found like 1000 one day and 2000 the next

If you win big in the SM casino you can redeem those vouchers.
Congratulations! You have now removed half your character motivation, because you'll never have to search for supplies or caps again.
My advice? Ignore the damned thing.

Your mileage may vary.

Agree with Al D, using that dropbox or winning big at the casino makes it far too simple to use the dispenser.
So I stopped using it and only scavenge cigarettes and crap.
Yay for necessary selfgimping...

Can't get Turbo or Hydra from it though.

Okay, free infinite everything that's useful :P
On the other hand you can use something else from the vending machine to trade for turbo if you really like the slo-mo.

I rarely find Turbo or Hydra at merchants though.
Maybe I just don't know where to look. :P

Are you on good terms with the Khans? They have a drug lab and you can teach them to make a bunch of chems.

Yeah but it requires like 50 science which I did not have on my previous character.
I do have 100 science on my current one so I'll be sure to check it out.

I wish I could donate the Bunker to the Followers, or at least let them use it.

Ah man, imagine how thankful Julie would be. The Courier would probably get some.

I love that drop box, cause of the goodies I get to buy with the chips it gives me. I mean I never have to worry about where I'm going to get the caps for my next meal, or how I'm going to fix my weapons, or ammo for as long as I live.
