The Druid - concept build.

So I'm really interesting in trying a Druid-like build, despite such a playstyle being difficult in Skyrim. I've been thinking about it quite a lot, and here's the ideas that I have so far:

- Become a Werewolf and get the Ring of Hircine. This mimicks the shapeshifting power of Druids.
- Get 100 Conjuration. Use Conjuration for the summoning of Elementals and the level 100 permanent Elemental spell will replace the Druid's animal companion.
- Use Restoration for healing both myself and my Elemental companion.
- Use a sword for fighting, but only put the 5 points into Armsman. (Or for a caster-focused Druid, use Destruction)
- Level Alteration enough for the defense bonuses.
- Use furs or leathers for armor. Not sure how many points I'll put into the Light Armor tree.
- Level Enchanting to 100, just for fun and because I like Enchanting.
- Perhaps level Alchemy to create Restore Health potions. Personally, I hate Alchemy so I won't do this.

Any other ideas? I've heard werewolves are kinda weak in the later game; is that true? If so, is there any way to make them a little more viable?

Also, mods are out of the question as I'm a PS3 player.

Sounds fun...but my vision of a druid most definitely uses alchemy.

The swords have to be curved swords.

Curved. Swords.

Also, if you're going the shouts route:

Call Lightning
Kyne's Peace
Detect Life/Dead
a few others

Don't forget Illusion with the Calm Effect up to Animage (or whatever it's called) perk.
